About the Role

As a Guest Service Agent you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, ensuring their journey to and from K'gari (Fraser Island) is seamless and enjoyable. The role will include providing exceptional customer service, handling reservations, and assisting guests with their inquiries.

You will be based at Sealink's mainland office, working with a dynamic team at the picturesque location of River Heads. This position is a part time 6-month contract role, with potential to extend. Working 7am - 4pm, 3 - 4 days weekly, including some weekends, across a 14-day roster.

We are looking for someone who is local to the Hervey Bay area, who is able to provide outstanding customer service and work in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests with general enquiries.
Handle reservations, ticketing, and check-in procedures efficiently.
Provide accurate information about Fraser Island attractions, activities, and services.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Manage phone calls and direct all guests to the appropriate check in areas.
Assist in coordinating bus and guest arrivals when needed.
Accurately obtain and process all guest registration information and resort information.

Exceptional time management skills
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
Strong computer skills
