Health Spring Australia owns multiple major health and nutrition brands in Australia. The company is specialized in complementary medicines, health foods, milk powder products and cosmetics. We supply high-quality personalized nutritional care tailored to the needs of different customer groups. The company is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Finance Manager, this could be your opportunity to join us.

About the role

Key responsibilities:

Your focus will be overseeing the financial operations of the business. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic decision-making, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving financial performance within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities will be (not limited to):

Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the financial and accounting activities of the company
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with business objectives
Prepare accurate financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis
Monitor purchase costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant industry requirements (including TGA where applicable)
Manage internal controls, risk management processes, and financial governance
Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger functions
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
Support senior management with strategic planning, investment decisions, and business expansion initiatives

Key requirements:

Bachelor degree or higher in finance, accounting or a related field
Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar role.
Great attention to detail
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Able to work autonomously, as well as a part of a team
