About the Role
We're looking for a Plan Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, working from home, looking to start Monday 31 August. You will be required to attend a week of in-person training if successful (location to be confirmed).
You'll hold your own caseload of participants and will building genuine working relationships with the people, families and providers on your caseload over time. You will be processing a high volume of invoices daily, and alongside this, you'll be analysing participant plans against NDIS legislation, Pricing Arrangements, operational guidelines and claiming rules, and you'll be communicating with stakeholders throughout the day.
This is a high-volume and fast-paced role, and you will need to possess the skills to move between detailed analysis, accurate invoice processing and clear communication and correspondence.
Key Responsibilities

Process a high volume of invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and adhering to daily processing deadlines
- Analyse participant plans, NDIS legislation, operational guidelines and Pricing Arrangements to ensure correct and compliant plan management
- Confidently speak with participants, providers, families and support coordinators on the phone and via email throughout the day
- Manage claims and invoice queries, resolving issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Pricing Arrangements and applicable claiming rules
- Write clearly and professionally in emails, case notes and correspondence with participants and stakeholders
- Work autonomously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of detail
Skills and Experience

Previous high-volume accounts payable, claims processing, or invoicing experience necessary
- Strong analytical skills - comfortable interpreting legislation, guidelines and plan documents and applying them correctly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to write clearly, professionally and accurately
- Proven ability to multitask across relationship management, analysis and processing, and to stay accurate and meet deadlines under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail, even when volume is high
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience in the NDIS industry or as a Plan Manager is desirable but not essential
- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping is highly regarded but not essential
Role Requirements

Must be located in Australia, preferably NSW.
- Excellent, reliable wifi and an ergonomic home office set-up
- A quiet, private space to take calls, free from background noise and interruptions
- Ability to set up equipment provided by LifeAbility
- Availability during school holiday periods
- Must be available for one week of in-person training, location to be confirmed depending on successful applicant.
