ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an organised, proactive and experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our office and ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of administrative services. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating office activities, supporting staff, managing resources and maintaining a professional and productive workplace.
This role will suit someone with strong organisational and communication skills who can manage multiple priorities, work independently and take initiative to improve office processes and procedures.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and attributes:
- Planned, coordinated and reviewed office services, establishing administrative priorities, workflows and service standards to ensure efficient business operations.
- Managed the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring effective administrative support and smooth workflow across all departments.
- Allocated human resources, office space, equipment and other resources to maximise operational efficiency and productivity.
- Assigned work to administrative staff, monitored performance, provided guidance and supervised daily activities to achieve organisational objectives.
- Coordinated recruitment, induction, training, performance management, payroll administration and staff development activities.
- Maintained accurate office records, confidential documents, financial accounts and administrative systems in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Assisted with budgeting, monitored office expenses, processed invoices and supported basic bookkeeping and financial reporting.Previous experience in Handisoft or MYOB also an advantage.
- Liaised with clients, suppliers, service providers and other professionals to coordinate office activities and resolve operational issues.
- Managed office communications, including incoming calls, emails, correspondence, meetings and appointments, ensuring timely and professional service.
- Oversaw the procurement, allocation, maintenance and servicing of office equipment, supplies and facilities.
- Ensured compliance with workplace policies, occupational health and safety (WHS/OHS) requirements, and relevant government legislation, regulations and organisational procedures.
- Identified and implemented improvements to administrative processes, preparing reports and presentations for management to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
