Full Job Description

About the Role

The Vallie Store is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Barista / All-Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the café and store.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard.
Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment.
Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system.
Assist with food preparation and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness of the café, dining areas, and workstations.
Wash dishes and keep kitchen and service areas clean.
Support other team members during busy periods.
Open and close the store as required.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
Available Weekends

Skills and Experience

Previous barista or café experience preferred.
Ability to produce consistent, quality coffee.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
Positive attitude and willingness to assist across all areas of the business.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours if required.
