About the Role
The Vallie Store is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Barista / All-Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the café and store.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment.
- Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café, dining areas, and workstations.
- Wash dishes and keep kitchen and service areas clean.
- Support other team members during busy periods.
- Open and close the store as required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience
- Previous barista or café experience preferred.
- Ability to produce consistent, quality coffee.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist across all areas of the business.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours if required.

Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour
