About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our team at Bundamba. This role suits a skilled individual with broad fabrication experience, strong stainless‑steel capability, and sound understanding of hygienic design principles. The ideal candidate enjoys working both independently and as part of a maintenance‑focused manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities

Perform stainless steel TIG fabrication to hygienic/food‑grade standards

Complete general fabrication including MIG welding, cutting, folding, rolling and assembly

Support maintenance teams with breakdown repairs and corrective works on beverage manufacturing equipment (conveyors, tanks, fillers, CIP lines)

Read and produce fabrication drawings and site sketches

Ensure WHS compliance (LOTO, hot work, confined space) and flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays when required
Skills and Experience

Certificate III in Metal Fabrication/Welding

Extensive TIG fabrication experience in hygienic or food‑grade settings

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong problem‑solving skills, autonomy, and a positive team‑player mindset

Experience in workshop or industrial manufacturing environments, with Australian citizenship or permanent residency
