Seafood Restaurant Cook – Sponsorship Available for the Right Candidate

Location: The Cray Seafood & Grill Restaurant

Position: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Seafood Restaurant Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality seafood dishes while maintaining consistency, food safety, and hygiene standards. The role requires experience in handling seafood products and working efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook seafood dishes, including fish, prawns, oysters, mussels, calamari, lobster, and other menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
Clean, fillet, portion, marinate, and store seafood products appropriately.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
Monitor seafood freshness and maintain proper stock rotation.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and HACCP requirements.
Assist with stock control and receiving deliveries.
Work efficiently during busy service periods and support the kitchen team.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in a seafood restaurant.
Knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience.

Pay: $56,933.56 – $86,141.18 per year
