About the Role
Santini Bar & Grill is QT Perth's award-winning signature restaurant, serving modern Italian food from an open kitchen fired by wood-fire coals and grills. Think handmade pasta, fresh WA produce, and a menu that draws a crowd night after night.

We're looking for a Chef de Partie to run a section of this busy kitchen, working closely with our senior chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality food at pace. This role is perfect for a chef who wants to sharpen their craft in a high-profile, high-volume kitchen with a real point of difference.
Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of an assigned section, preparing and cooking menu items to Santini's exacting standard during service.
Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across dishes, working efficiently under the pressure of a busy service.
Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with mise en place, stock rotation, and daily kitchen preparation.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WH&S procedures, including correct storage and labelling of stock.
Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked section, minimising wastage and controlling costs.
Support the training and development of Demi Chefs, Apprentices and junior kitchen team members.
Communicate effectively with Front of House and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth, well-timed service.

What You'll Bring

Trade qualification in commercial cookery with proven experience working a section in a busy, high-quality kitchen.
Experience in Italian or grill-style cookery is highly regarded, but not essential.
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during a fast-paced, high-volume service.
Strong attention to detail and pride in food quality and presentation.
A team player with a positive attitude who can also guide and support junior chefs.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
