About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Support Worker to join our team to support to one of our clients for 4 hours weekly schedule.

In this role, you will provide in-home support and assistance to our client who has a disability (Autism), helping him maintain his independence and achieve his personal goals.

Work Location & Times:

Tuesdays at 3:00 PM – pick-up from Werribee (2-hour shift)
Thursdays at 4:00 PM – pick-up from North Altona (2-hour shift)

What You'll Be Doing

Provide social support and companionship to clients, engaging them in meaningful activities and outings.
Advocate for clients and liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure their needs are met.
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Maintain detailed client records and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the broader support team to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

What We're Looking For

Fluency in English.
Experience working with clients preferably within the disability support sector, particularly people with intellectual disability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
A caring, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting clients with diverse needs.
Relevant qualifications in disability support, or a related field (essential).
A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential).
