Year 10 Maths Tutor

Are you a strong maths student who enjoys helping others understand tricky concepts? Nova Scholars is opening limited tutoring opportunities for high-achieving students who want to gain real teaching experience in a supportive, structured environment.

We're looking for motivated tutors who:

Have achieved strong results in VCE Maths Methods/Specialist (or A/A+ in Year 10 Maths)
Atar 90+
Study Score of 40+ in Math Methods/Specialist Mathematics/General Mathematics
Enjoy explaining maths in a simple, step-by-step way
Are patient, reliable, and confident working with younger students
Want to build leadership, communication, and teaching skills
Are excited to grow with us and potentially continue into VCE tutoring roles

What You'll Do

Help Year 10 students master maths fundamentals
Teach and support small-group workshops (max 10 students)
Teach 30min 1-1 sessions fortnightly
Use our ready-made booklets and worksheets (content creation opportunities as a separate role)
Provide encouragement, guidance, and study strategies
Teach both online and at our Wantirna South centre
