Year 10 Maths Tutor
Are you a strong maths student who enjoys helping others understand tricky concepts? Nova Scholars is opening limited tutoring opportunities for high-achieving students who want to gain real teaching experience in a supportive, structured environment.
We're looking for motivated tutors who:
- Have achieved strong results in VCE Maths Methods/Specialist (or A/A+ in Year 10 Maths)
- Atar 90+
- Study Score of 40+ in Math Methods/Specialist Mathematics/General Mathematics
- Enjoy explaining maths in a simple, step-by-step way
- Are patient, reliable, and confident working with younger students
- Want to build leadership, communication, and teaching skills
- Are excited to grow with us and potentially continue into VCE tutoring roles
What You'll Do
- Help Year 10 students master maths fundamentals
- Teach and support small-group workshops (max 10 students)
- Teach 30min 1-1 sessions fortnightly
- Use our ready-made booklets and worksheets (content creation opportunities as a separate role)
- Provide encouragement, guidance, and study strategies
- Teach both online and at our Wantirna South centre
