About the Opportunity

Based at Naval Base, the Project Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the LCM Project Delivery team to help ensure the smooth and successful delivery of the Landing Craft Medium (LCM) program.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project administration, where you will gain exposure to a large-scale maritime project while developing your skills in document management, reporting, coordination, and stakeholder communication.

Working alongside experienced production professionals, you will help maintain accurate records, track project actions and milestones, and support day to day project activities to contribute to the safe and timely delivery of vessels.

What’s Involved

Provide administrative support to the LCM Project team, assisting with daily project activities and coordination.
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions to help keep projects on track.
Assist with project reporting by updating schedules, maintaining records, and compiling information for reports.
Manage project documents and filing systems to ensure information is organised, accurate, and easily accessible.
Liaise with internal teams to support communication and the timely completion of project tasks.
Support compliance, audits, and documentation requirements while maintaining confidentiality of project information.

You’ll Need

Certificate III in Business Administration or a similar qualification (desirable).
Previous experience in an administration, coordination, or support role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports.
High attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records, documentation, and administrative processes.
A proactive team-focused approach, with the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
