Description of the role
We have an opportunity for an Executive Assistant who is looking for their next career advancing move to work directly with the Managing Partner of William Buck Victoria. This person will demonstrate their strategic and operational skills whilst being given the opportunity to develop their management/leadership capabilities amongst a growing team.
What makes you ‘just right’
- Minimum 10 years’ experience operating in C-suite support positions in dynamic, evolving environments.
- Strong commercial acumen and natural ability to understand the business’s priorities.
- Highly autonomous individual with strong judgement, ability to think ahead and anticipate needs, with decisiveness and the ability to follow through.
- Composed communicator with a consistent temperament whilst in high pressure scenarios.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to challenge the status quo assessing and recognising where there is benefit to do so.
- Warm, approachable with humility to connect with all in the workplace enabling you to champion and mentor the team to unlock their potential.
What your day might look like
- Work closely with the Executive Partners to ensure strategic planning, implementation and continuous improvements are committed to and embedded internally and externally with the highest standards of confidentiality.
- Own and optimise the Managing Partner’s time, ensuring focus on highest-value activities freeing them from operations to think strategically.
- Operate as a confidante and strategic partner, bringing an informed and balanced perspective providing an “additional lens” on decisions, challenge thinking, and reinforce perspectives when needed.
- Work closely with internal Administrative and People & Culture teams to strengthen and streamline processes whilst ensuring there is consistency in communication across the business.
