With an expanding client base, we are looking for a Senior SMSF Auditor to join our great team.
You will work alongside talented professionals providing SMSF audit services to clients across Australia.
The responsibilities will include:
- Conduct SMSF audits to a high professional standard.
- Establish audit objectives and apply audit methodologies, procedures and report criteria appropriate to SMSF engagements.
- Analyse and interpret SMSF financial records, investment activity, member benefits and supporting documentation to assess compliance and audit risk.
- Identify, evaluate and report on financial, operational and compliance risks, including the effectiveness of relevant controls and processes.
- Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to trustees, administrators, clients and relevant regulatory bodies as required.
- Review work completed by junior auditors and provide practical coaching and feedback.
- Researching complex superannuation issues
- Communicate directly with clients regarding technical, compliance and audit matters.
- Contribute to process improvements, quality initiatives and team development.
- Support workflow management, turnaround targets and efficient audit delivery.
We are looking for people with:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to liaise with clients, colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and collaborate effectively with others
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in SMSF audit.
