Knox Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our ICU Team on a part time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Knox Private Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne’s east and outer east.

We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Backed by the latest technology and expertise, we offer 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.

All supported by a coronary care unit and intensive care unit. Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be.

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, your responsibilities will include:

Identify educational needs by partnering with Nursing Leaders (i.e. DON, NUM, CNS) and Clinical Support Functions (i.e. Quality, Infection Control)
Lead and foster a learning environment
Maintains a professional and constructive working relationships
Prioritises Healthscope’s patient safety and quality frameworks

Essential Criteria:

Authority to Work in Australia
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE)
Working with Children check
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms
Knowledge of adult learning practises and contemporary education practises
High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement- 2025 (Salaries will range between $58- $61)
