What your day could look like
As a Clinical Facilitator, you'll play a vital role in strengthening clinical capability and supporting safe, high-quality care for patients across Darling Downs Health. From guiding nurses at the bedside to building team confidence and capability, you'll work closely with leaders and educators to create a positive, evidence-based practice environment.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Supporting nurses and midwives to deliver safe, evidence-based care through coaching, assessment and real-time clinical guidance
Building a strong learning culture by facilitating education, competency development and reflective practice
Partnering with leaders and multidisciplinary teams to improve care outcomes, workflows and team capability
Driving quality and safety by identifying risks, supporting audits and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate Australian authority
Strong clinical experience with advanced judgement, problem-solving and evidence-based practice
Proven ability to coach, mentor and assess staff in a clinical environment
Confidence working collaboratively and leading within multidisciplinary teams
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate qualifications relevant to your specialty and/or training in workplace education and assessment.
Most importantly, you'll bring a passion for developing others, improving care, and contributing to a safe, supportive environment where people and patients can thrive, guided by values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.
