The Opportunity:

Seeking a dynamic, results‑driven business development professional with proven experience ideally across construction, labour hire and/or services industries to join an empowering not-for-profit company that offers autonomy and the freedom to take initiative.

This is a true “hunter” role for someone who thrives on identifying opportunities, opening doors, and converting prospects into long‑term partnerships.

Key elements of the role:

As the Business Development Manager, you will orchestrate the entire lifecycle of client partnership management from:

Proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities that position Joii Limited as a trusted workforce partner
Build and sustain capability across all our business units
Shaping and negotiating commercial arrangements aligned to client needs and organisational objectives
Managing tendering activities, ensuring a seamless process from opportunity identification through to high‑quality submission
Executing collaborative projects across multiple business units once opportunities are secured
Ensuring all partnerships align with Joii Limited’s strategic, ethical, and compliance objectives

This position is the vital link between Joii Limited and its external partners and plays a key role in expanding market presence and service offerings.

Responsibilities:

Actively hunt out and generate new business opportunities across all Joii divisions
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market engagement
Convert prospects into long‑term partnerships through consultative selling and solution design
Develop tailored workforce solutions aligned to client operational, commercial, and capacity needs
Coordinate and execute agreements, contracts and labour supply arrangements
Assist with the development of proposals and tenders across the business
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client partnership objectives are met to deliver seamless solutions
Track, analyse, and report on new business performance, pipeline activity, and partnership outcomes
Represent Joii Limited as a brand ambassador at industry, client, and networking events

About You:

A proven business development “hunter” with a track record of opening doors and winning new clients
Demonstrated experience selling within construction, labour hire and/or services industries
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to navigate complex service offerings and client decision‑making environments
A confident negotiator who can structure and close mutually beneficial agreements
Comfortable working autonomously, setting priorities, and managing your own pipeline and activity levels
Strong relationship‑building, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
Highly organised with excellent follow‑through

Qualifications & Experience:

10 + years proven experience as a Business Development Manager ideally within construction and/or services industries
Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources or related field highly regarded
Experience in sales at a senior level in a services industry.
Knowledge of Immigration services an advantage
Strong competency across CRM systems, job management platforms, and the Microsoft Office suite
