Role Overview

This is a talent acquisition role for someone who enjoys hiring at pace, partnering closely with the business, and helping build high-performing teams in a company that is growing quickly. If you are looking for a broader HR path or a role centered on policy, employee relations, or people operations, this will not be the right fit.
At Fresha, we are looking for a Talent Specialist to join our Sydney office and help drive hiring across a business with real momentum, particularly as we continue expanding across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region.
This role will suit someone who is energised by a busy hiring environment, comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, and motivated by the chance to make a visible commercial impact.
About the Role
You’ll partner closely with our Global Head of Talent, Senior Talent Partners, and hiring managers to deliver a high-quality, end-to-end hiring experience. From sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding support, you’ll play a key role in building high-performing teams across our business.

You will work across multiple recruitment priorities at once, partnering with hiring managers to keep processes moving and making good decisions quickly. This is not a slow, heavily layered environment. It is a role for someone who can stay organised, keep momentum, and maintain sound judgement while working at pace.
You can expect to:
- Manage end-to-end hiring across multiple live roles
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand priorities and move searches forward
- Identify and engage strong talent quickly and effectively
- Keep candidate processes moving with pace and professionalism
- Balance urgency with quality, knowing when to move fast and when to go deeper
- Contribute to hiring efforts that support Fresha’s commercial growth across Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific
- Bring market insight, good instincts, and strong execution to every search
- Write and send compelling outreach messages to engage passive candidates
- Screen CVs, conduct intro calls, and assess candidate fit
- Coordinate interviews across multiple time zones and teams
- Maintain and update our ATS (we use Lever) and support scheduling/admin
- Contribute to team projects including employer branding, candidate experience, and hiring events

We keep things simple and respectful of your time. Here’s how it works:
- Intro Call (30 mins) – Video Call with our APAC Talent Lead
- Skills Interview (45 mins) – Chat with our Global Head of Talent
- Final Stage (60 mins, in-person) – Meet APAC Talent Lead in person at our Sydney office
We aim to finalise the entire interview process and deliver feedback within 2 weeks.
