Full Job Description

Hansen Yuncken Focuses on commercial, education, and healthcare construction.

A Contract Administrator at Hansen Yuncken plays a key role in keeping construction projects well-organized, financially controlled, and legally compliant. You help make sure contracts, payments, and project agreements run smoothly from start to finish, supporting the delivery of large and complex building projects across Australia.

In this role, you work closely with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure everything is properly documented, costs are controlled, and contracts are followed correctly. You help turn project plans into real, successful construction outcomes by keeping communication, paperwork, and processes clear and accurate.

Typical Responsibilities:

Manage subcontractor contracts, including preparing, reviewing, and administering agreements.

Support procurement by coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.

Track project costs, variations, progress claims, and payments to ensure accurate financial control.

Assist in preparing and reviewing contract documents, reports, and project correspondence.

Work closely with site teams to resolve contractual issues and support project delivery.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and construction regulations.

Help maintain project records and documentation for audits, reporting, and accountability.

Skills & Experience:

Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and project administration.

Good attention to detail to manage financial data, documents, and deadlines accurately.

Strong communication and negotiation skills to work with subcontractors and project teams.

Ability to use Microsoft Office and construction management systems.

Qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field is often preferred.

Pay: From $7,000.00 per month
