About the Role

Lead and manage your designated section, ensuring the consistent delivery of premium, contemporary Chinese cuisine to the highest standard.
Execute dishes with precision, maintaining exceptional quality, presentation, and portion control during service.
Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and senior team to uphold the restaurant’s culinary vision and operational excellence.
Supervise and support junior team members within your section, fostering efficiency, communication, and professional growth.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and WH&S standards while ensuring a clean, organised, and high-performing workstation

Qualifications & Experience

Proven Experience: Demonstrated success as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef within a premium dining environment, ideally with strong exposure to contemporary or traditional Chinese cuisine.
Formal Training: A recognised qualification in Commercial Cookery is essential, with a strong grasp of classical techniques, kitchen operations, and section management.
Safety & Hygiene Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of WH&S regulations and food safety standards, with the ability to consistently maintain and enforce best practices within your section.
Commitment to Excellence: A genuine passion for culinary craft, creativity in execution, and a drive to continuously refine skills while contributing positively to team performance and kitchen culture.
