Full Job Description

We are looking for an organised and proactive Assistant to the Practice Manager. Hybrid working.

This role is focused on providing administrative support to the Practice Manager, helping to reduce their day-to-day workload and allowing them to focus on higher-level responsibilities. We are seeking someone who is reliable, adaptable, and enjoys keeping things organised behind the scenes.

Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Practice Manager
Assist with emails, correspondence, and general office administration
Prepare documents, reports, and spreadsheets as required
Maintain accurate records and filing systems
Assist with staff documentation, onboarding paperwork, and training records
Support rostering and leave administration
Follow up outstanding tasks and ensure deadlines are met
Coordinate meetings and manage calendars where required
Help improve and maintain administrative systems and processes
Take ownership of routine administrative tasks to free up the Practice Manager's time

About You

Available to work Monday to Friday during business hours
Fast learner with a willingness to take initiative
Strong computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and other software systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Able to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
Professional, reliable, and trustworthy
Comfortable working independently and problem-solving when needed
Previous administration or personal/executive assistant experience is highly regarded
