About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining training programs aligned with new initiatives, systems, and urgent organisational needs. You will assess training requirements and deliver targeted learning solutions using a variety of delivery methods.
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic learning designer who has current experience in the development and implementation of online courses, educational video production, webinars & instructional guidebooks. You will be tasked with a range of responsibilities that includes recommending appropriate methods of delivery, working within time frames and preparing training materials in physical and digital formats that meet the needs of the organisation and the NSW community.
Key Responsibilities:

Instructional design services; learning strategy, content development, development of storyboards (content writing) for online and blended learning solutions

Digital design services including graphics, videos, animations, voice overs and other digital and print resources for E-Learning and webinars.

Design, develop, and facilitate accessible, engaging virtual and face-to-face training using adult learning principles in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Build and maintain effective relationships key stakeholders and provide professional training advice to support business outcomes.

Assess organisational training needs and develop appropriate learning solutions across various modalities, including digital, in-person, and on-the-job learning.

Evaluate training effectiveness, incorporating feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve training products and processes.
Essential requirements for the role:

Proven experience with instructional design tools, including:
-
eLearning software (Articulate, or similar)
-
Video/animation tools (Camtasia, Vyond, or similar)
-
Presentation and graphic design tools (PowerPoint, Canva, or equivalent)
-
Demonstrated ability to assess training needs and develop effective learning solutions.

Strong time management skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines
Highly Desirable Skills:

Confidence in facilitating conversations and building collaborative relationships across teams.

Excellent written communication and high attention to detail.

Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative training solutions.

Experience in developing inclusive training programs that reflect adult learning best practices.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification in Adult Education or other relevant qualification highly advantageo

Ability to work in a hybrid environment, able to self-manage yet be adaptable to meet team and organisational demands
