Job Title: Senior English Tutor

Academy One is a leading tutoring agency in Sydney, providing personalised academic programs to students in grades 7-12. We are seeking an experienced English tutor to join our team of dedicated professionals. We especially welcome prospective, current, and retired High School English teachers to join our passionate team.

Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality High School English tutoring to students in grades 7-12
Creating personalised learning plans based on each student's needs and learning style
Providing comprehensive support in various aspects of English, including reading, writing, and communication
Fostering critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills in students
Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly
Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
Communicating with parents to provide progress reports and feedback

Requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of the NSW HSC syllabus requirements for English
Hold provisional NESA accreditation or already be NESA-accredited
Relevant educational qualification
