About the Job
Capra Coaching offers tutoring for students of all ages, Kindy to Year 12, across a range of subjects, from Maths and English to Physics and Economics. Our tutors are a mix of high-achieving university students and qualified teachers who are passionate about learning and devoted to helping their students thrive academically.
Intelligence is of course very important, but we are also looking for those who have strong interpersonal and communication skills to conduct effective, engaging and inspiring lessons. Most importantly, we are looking for tutors that truly care about their students and are dedicated to helping them improve their confidence and work towards their academic goals.

We are looking for tutors that:
- Have a Bachelor degree (or higher) in Education OR
- Are currently studying a degree in Education OR
- Have demonstrated experience educating primary school students
Hours
You will have the convenience and independence of working in your own private room at our centre which is open Monday to Friday 3:30pm-8pm and Saturdays/Sundays 9am-5pm. Your students will be coming to you, removing the wasteful hours of travel time which are unavoidable as a freelance tutor and allowing you to tutor more students in less time. We also handle all scheduling issues and communication with parents, allowing you to focus purely on delivering high quality lessons.
We understand the demands of university and work schedules, so our tutors are free to choose the days they would like to work. We only require a minimum commitment of 4 hours per week. Most of our tutors work around 8-12 hours a week, but this is entirely up to you.

Our pay rates are negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
