Job Title: Senior English Tutor
Academy One is a leading tutoring agency in Sydney, providing personalised academic programs to students in grades 7-12. We are seeking an experienced English tutor to join our team of dedicated professionals. We especially welcome prospective, current, and retired High School English teachers to join our passionate team.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality High School English tutoring to students in grades 7-12
- Creating personalised learning plans based on each student's needs and learning style
- Providing comprehensive support in various aspects of English, including reading, writing, and communication
- Fostering critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills in students
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly
- Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
- Communicating with parents to provide progress reports and feedback
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NSW HSC syllabus requirements for English
- Hold provisional NESA accreditation or already be NESA-accredited
- Relevant educational qualification
