Full Job Description

Full-Time (ideal) / Part-Time | Flexible Hours

Crescendo Academy is looking for a friendly, organised and confident Administration Assistant to join our growing music education team.

This is a people-focused administration role. You will be one of the main points of contact for our students, parents and teachers, helping manage the day-to-day scheduling and administration of a busy music academy.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

A musical background or genuine interest in music is highly regarded
Strong computer literacy, with familiarity with social media platforms, Canva and other digital tools considered an advantage
Respond professionally to parent and student enquiries via email, phone and in person
Assist prospective students and families with lesson enquiries, enrolments and general Academy information
Manage lesson changes, cancellations, absences and make-up lesson arrangements
Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of Academy events, including concerts, competitions, workshops and other student activities
Provide general administrative support to teachers, students and families
Assist with day-to-day operations to ensure the Academy runs efficiently and professionally

About You

We are primarily looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys interacting with people.

You should:

Be confident communicating with both adults and children
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be organised and comfortable managing multiple schedules
Be patient and professional when dealing with parents
Work well with teachers and other team members
Be comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change
Have good computer and general administration skills
Be reliable and able to work independently when required

Experience in administration, reception, education or customer service would be beneficial, but attitude, communication skills and reliability are equally important.

A background or interest in music is an advantage.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 38.0 per week
