Bowls Instructor & Hospitality All-Rounder

Casual | 15–30 Hours Per Week

Are you an energetic, outgoing people-person with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences? We want to hear from you!

We are a busy function venue looking for an enthusiastic Bowls Instructor & Hospitality All-Rounder to join our team. As our venue operates primarily around bookings and events, hours will vary week to week — making this the perfect role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As our Bowls Instructor, you will be the face of the bowling experience — bringing energy, enthusiasm and personality to every group that walks through our doors. Your responsibilities will include:

Setting up, coordinating and delivering engaging bowls sessions for guests of all skill levels
Welcoming and guiding groups throughout their experience, ensuring they are having fun and getting the most out of their time on the green
Transitioning smoothly between groups, resetting and preparing the space for the next booking
Assisting behind the bar, running food and providing general hospitality support between sessions
Communicating effectively with management and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
Contributing ideas around how to elevate the bowls experience and develop additional events and activations at the venue
Learning venue opening and closing procedures as part of your ongoing responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

A big, vibrant personality with natural confidence in front of groups
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine team player who can collaborate across departments
Previous hospitality experience is an advantage
Experience with lawn bowls is a bonus, but not essential — we are happy to train the right person!
Flexibility to work varying hours based on event bookings
