We have opportunities for Cert III educators willing to further their studies with a paid on-the-job traineeship, or persons who already hold Diploma level (or working towards ) child care qualifications. You will need to live locally to the centre and have reliable transport. This position will suit someone who has a passion for children’s education and care.

We are looking for someone with excellent presentation and communication skills.

Diploma Traineeship - We Offer:

COURSE FEES COVERED for Cert III and Diploma ECEC*
BONUS PAYMENTS of between $315-$625 every 6 months*

*For traineeship employees, current incentives in place from the Australian Government as at July 2026, this position enables you to be employed as an educator whilst enrolled in a course to gain your qualifications with no course fee expenses to you for eligible applicants. Paid birthday leave subject to Policy T&C's.

Duties include:

· educating and caring for children between the ages of 0-5yrs

· contributing to the programming

· written reflections on children's activities

· general duties.

· building trusting relationships with children and their families

· giving verbal feedback to parents and guardians about the child’s experiences at the centre.

· Actively maintaining a healthy, safe and supervised space for children to play and learn

· meeting requirements of mandatory reporters and a child safe environment in line with policy and procedure

The successful candidate will need:

· to hold a Working with Children Check

· be available to be rostered Mon-Fri between the hours of 7am and 6pm as the needs of the role and the business may require

· Be friendly, and solution orientated

· advocate for a child-safe and hygienic environment following our policies and procedures

· Follow our Child Safe Code of Conduct

· Meet child safe clearance checks and training requirements

Rostered hours are part time to full time depending on the needs of the business and the capabilities of the employee.

Essentials:

Current WWC to be maintained, Recognised ECEC qualifications, Current HLTAID012 First Aid & resuscitation, GECCKO course completion 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 for RP’s and NS, Child Protection Course and refreshers <24 months, NSW Food Safe Handling Certificate, Safe Sleep course for nursery educators, Responsible Person duties for suitable individuals, Police Clearance for NS, Prohibition declaration and clearance, registration on the National Workers Register, ongoing requirement to declare any adverse registration affecting WWC.
