Job Description

Elastomers Australia are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join the team based in Campbellfield. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will support the wider finance team across Accounts Payables/ Receivables, Payroll and general finance administration activities.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in finance and gain hands on experience across multiple functions.

Duties

Process invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, customers queries and issues in a timely manner
Support monthly reconciliations and assist with finance reporting
Assist with finance administration activities including but not limited to banking, forecasting, month end and compliance.
Provide Payroll assistance by collating and processing documentation including leave applications, timesheets as required and assist with payroll functions
Provide reception support as required and general administrative and office duties.

Requirements

Previous experience in an administration or finance role
Formal qualifications in bookkeeping, finance or similar
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and be adaptable
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
Excellent time management and organisational skills
