About the role
Queensland Rail is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Document Control Officer to join the QTMP program. This role is critical for the day-to-day management and control of documents, ensuring that all documentation is accurately registered, distributed, and quality assured.

This is a 4-year fixed term position dedicated to the successful delivery of the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), based in Brisbane CBD.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include

Provide daily management and control of project documents.
Distribute documents to relevant workstream leads and ensure timely action.
Perform quality assurance checks on all documents to consistently maintain high standards.
Maintain, develop and update document control processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Support the program management team with document-related tasks and inquiries.

About you

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a large, complex project environment.
Proficiency in using document control systems such as InEight (preferable), Aconex, Asite or ProjectWise.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing and controlling documents
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
