Are you a detail-oriented supply chain professional with a passion for planning, forecasting, and operational excellence? TVH is seeking a Purchasing Officer to support TVH Oceania by ensuring optimal stock availability through effective supply planning and intercompany coordination across our global network.
While this role is heavily focused on intercompany supply planning and order processing from global TVH entities (including Belgium, USA, China, and India), you will also play a crucial role locally by supporting the CAM Attachments team on ad-hoc and emergency orders to ensure the production team has the required items to keep production and customer orders on time. Additionally, you will assist the local purchasing team to process branch orders and reorder signals, taking on the direct responsibility of looking after branch ordering in Australia. The customer must remain at the centre of everything we do, ensuring strong service levels and reliable product availability.
Responsibilities include
Support the local CAM Attachments team with ad-hoc and emergency orders to ensure production and customer orders consistently remain on schedule.
Manage Australian branch ordering by taking dedicated responsibility for processing branch orders and reorder signals alongside the local purchasing team.
Oversee end-to-end intercompany order processing, coordinating closely with global TVH entities to ensure supply continuity and strong delivery performance.
Execute daily stock ordering and analysis, while proactively monitoring order statuses and managing back-orders to mitigate any supply risks.
Process supplier quotes and maintain accurate pricing data within the system, ensuring strict adherence to planning guidelines and customer commitments.
Manage supplier communications and efficiently resolve delivery issues or returns to minimise potential supply chain disruptions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Warehouse, and Quality Control (QC) teams to provide real-time inbound stock updates, resolve discrepancies, and address invoice queries.

Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply or a similar support-based role
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Clear and professional communication skills with ability to build strong relationships
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Advanced computer literacy with knowledge of ERP and Office programs
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
