Role: Site Foreman

Celebrating 23 years in 2026, Alder Group brings engineering and construction expertise together under one roof to deliver complex building, civil and infrastructure projects across Queensland and Northern NSW.

We're looking for an experienced Site Foreman to join our growing Civil & Infrastructure team and play a key role in delivering projects that are helping shape the future of Southeast Queensland.

With a strong pipeline of work across the Gold Coast and SEQ corridor, this is an opportunity to lead from the front on high-profile civil and infrastructure projects, work alongside a highly experienced team, and build a rewarding career with a business that genuinely cares about its people, its communities, and the lasting impact of the projects we deliver.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Lead and supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget.
Coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve programme, quality and safety objectives.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement practical solutions to keep works on track.
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and safety initiatives to promote a strong safety culture.
Prepare site reports, track project performance and support successful project delivery.

About You – Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

Proven experience as a Foreman within construction civil infrastructure or related project environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, safety requirements and quality standards.
Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and project programmes.
Relevant trade qualifications or construction-related certifications.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Good digital literacy and experience using construction management platforms such as Procore
A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes while fostering positive working relationships across project teams.
