Jet Facades Pty Ltd trading as Lennox Facades delivers architectural façade solutions that are precise, compliant, and beautifully executed, with in-house capability across design, documentation, fabrication and installation.
Our work spans complex façade systems, cladding and framing assemblies, and bespoke architectural metalwork that is designed, manufactured, and installed by our team. With our project portfolio continuing to grow, we’re looking for a talented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team in our Narangba office and help bring projects from concept through to construction.
If you thrive on technical detail, love producing clean, accurate documentation, and enjoy working alongside a collaborative, high-performing team — this could be your next move.
About the Role
This is a hands-on technical drafting position where you’ll play a key role within our in-house façade design team, focused on the detailed documentation of façade systems, cladding assemblies, structural framing and architectural metalwork for manufacture and installation.
Working closely with our senior project leads and the supervising Architectural Draftsperson , you will translate approved façade concepts into accurate, buildable documentation. The role plays an important part in resolving technical details to ensure designs are coordinated, manufacturable and installable.
Your focus will be on producing clear, accurate and coordinated drawing sets that support successful fabrication and site delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing detailed architectural and façade documentation including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using Autodesk Inventor as the primary modelling platform, with AutoCAD used for supporting documentation where required
- Producing construction and shop drawings suitable for façade installation and project delivery
- Coordinating façade documentation with structural elements and adjacent building trades
- Translating approved façade concepts into fully resolved, buildable assemblies
- Coordinating drawings with façade and structural engineering inputs
- Updating documentation in response to fabrication feedback, site requirements, and installation sequencing
- Providing technical drafting support to project and site teams
- Assisting senior project leads and the supervising architect in refining façade design concepts and preparing documentation for approvals and construction
- Converting approved concepts and sketches into technical documentation for approvals and construction
- Producing coordinated drawing sets including floor plans, site plans, schedules, and material callouts
- Ensuring documentation aligns with relevant building codes, planning controls and regulatory requirements
- Liaising with architects, engineers, and consultants to maintain drawing accuracy and coordination
- Maintaining drawing registers, revisions, and version control
The Scope
You will work under the guidance of senior project leads and the supervising architectural draftsperson, with responsibility for the accurate and coordinated documentation of façade and metalwork packages.
Design intent and statutory compliance remain with the supervising architect. Your role will focus on resolving the technical details required to ensure façade systems are coordinated, manufacturable and installable within the broader project team.
This role is all about strong technical delivery and collaboration — producing high-quality documentation that supports successful fabrication and installation.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Architectural Drafting, Building Design or similar — or strong relevant industry experience
- Strong CAD/BIM capability with experience using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- Understanding of façade systems, cladding, structural framing or architectural metalwork (desirable)
- Experience producing construction or shop drawings for fabrication or construction projects
- Ability to think in assemblies and construction sequencing, not just 2D drawings
- High attention to detail with pride in producing accurate, coordinated documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with design, fabrication and site teams
- Solid understanding of construction documentation standards
