Your opportunity

Located in the rural community of Laura on Cape York Peninsula, Laura State School offers a close-knit teaching environment focused on inclusive practice, personalised learning and strong community connection.

As the Head of Department - Curriculum at Laura State School, you will:

Provide curriculum leadership across Kindy - Year 6 to ensure high-quality, highly individualised teaching and learning aligned to the Australian Curriculum Version 9 and departmental priorities.
Lead collaborative planning, capability building, and evidence-informed practice to support students with intellectual disability, autism, complex communication needs and additional health or sensory needs.
