Located in Fortitude Valley, Fortitude Valley State Secondary College is well connected by Brisbane's public transport network, with convenient access to bus and rail services.

About the Role
You will lead the Global, Cultural and Technological Perspectives portfolio, including the Technologies learning area and the bespoke Agile Minds and Genius Hour programs. The portfolio focuses on creating with purpose through diverse perspectives and leading the creative, ethical and sustainable use of technologies to shape a better-connected world.
As Head of Department, you will provide instructional leadership across curriculum, co-curricular activities and whole-school strategic priorities. You will lead staff, contribute to student pastoral care, build teacher capability and support the development of high-quality curriculum and teaching resources.
The successful applicant will be an agile leader with strong communication, leadership and change management skills, committed to improving student outcomes and developing confident, resilient problem-solvers prepared for the future.
