Location: Calliope Gladstone Region QLD 4680, home of the Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng and Taribelang Bunda Peoples

Centre: Goodstart Calliope

Employment Type: Full Time 38 hours per week

Pay: $55.73 - $68.53 per hour (qualification and experience pending) + Superannuation + Benefits

$5,000 sign on bonus and up to $10,000 relocation assistance may apply for eligible candidates

As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

In this role, you will:
As Centre Director, you will be at the heart of our centre’s success—leading with vision, purpose, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. You will guide a committed team and ensure the highest level of care, safety, and learning for all children.

Leading a centre through the A&R process, preparing documentation, and supporting teams to demonstrate high-quality practice. Creating, maintaining, and evaluating the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan.

Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice.

Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement.

Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business.

Coaching, mentoring, and empowering educators to be their best.

Overseeing centre performance, compliance, budgeting, rosters and daily operations.

A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)

Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
