My Companion Co. is a growing local disability support provider committed to delivering quality, individualised support to people living with a range of disabilities.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Administration & Operations Officer to join our team and provide essential behind-the-scenes support across our day-to-day business operations.
This is an important role within our growing team. While you won't be providing direct support to our clients, your work will play a key part in ensuring our staff, management and daily operations remain organised, efficient and well supported.
We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised, has excellent attention to detail and is confident working independently while also being part of a supportive team.
About the Role
This is a part-time position working Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, providing administrative and operational support to our Director, Manager and wider team.
The role is varied and will involve a combination of rostering, payroll administration, general office administration, social media support and day-to-day coordination.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, maintaining and distributing staff rosters
- Checking staff availability and assisting with staffing requirements
- Coordinating roster changes and communicating updates with staff
- Assisting with weekly payroll processing
- Reviewing timesheets and staff hours for accuracy
- Identifying and following up timesheet or payroll discrepancies
- Monitoring, responding to and actioning emails
- Providing administrative support to the Director and Manager
- Following up outstanding tasks and ensuring actions are completed
- Maintaining accurate business and administrative records
- Preparing documents, spreadsheets and other business correspondence
- Assisting with invoice administration and general record keeping
- Coordinating office supplies and liaising with suppliers where required
- Curating and preparing approved social media content
- Monitoring and responding to social media messages and comments
- Assisting with general office organisation and coordination
- Preparing information and administrative tasks for upcoming weeks
- Supporting other reasonable administrative and operational requirements as needed
About You
We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional and takes initiative.
You will be well suited to this role if you:
- Have strong organisational and time-management skills
- Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Are confident using computers, emails, spreadsheets and general office systems
- Communicate professionally and confidently with staff, clients and external providers
- Are comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Can work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
- Are proactive and able to identify what needs to be done without always needing direction
- Understand the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
- Are reliable and consistent in your attendance
- Enjoy creating systems, keeping things organised and making sure nothing gets missed
- Are willing to learn new software, systems and processes
Previous experience in administration, rostering, payroll or a similar role would be highly regarded. Experience within the disability, NDIS, healthcare or community services sector would be beneficial but is not essential.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $84,368.29 per year
