The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO will provide high-level executive governance for the entire Marketing Department. You will be a key member of the C-suite, translating Karmo's long-term commercial objectives into high-performing digital, eCommerce, and brand strategies.

Through strategic mentorship of the Head of Marketing and specialised leads, you will foster a data-driven, analytical culture that optimises marketing capital allocation and delivers enterprise-wide ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Define the long-term marketing roadmap and departmental structure to support rapid scaling and revenue targets.
Executive Alignment: Collaborate with the C-suite to align marketing output with corporate financial performance and growth objectives.
Omnichannel Governance: Oversee the integration of high-level digital, eCommerce, and brand strategies to ensure global market synergy.
Data-Driven ROI: Champion an analytical ethos, utilising marketing science, quantitative insights, and sophisticated KPIs to drive executive decision-making.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Foster seamless collaboration between Marketing, Operations, Product, and Sales to streamline the consumer journey and boost conversions.

About You

You are a seasoned marketing executive who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You possess a unique blend of creative vision and rigorous analytical capability, with a proven track record of scaling brands and managing complex promotional budgets.

What you bring to the role:

Essential Criteria:

Proven Executive Leadership: Demonstrated history as a marketing executive, managing multi-faceted departments, mentoring talent, and optimizing team output.
Strategic & Digital Expertise: Deep mastery of digital landscapes (SEO, paid media, social community engagement) and eCommerce methodologies (funnel optimization, platform stewardship).
Brand & Analytics Mastery: Strong background in brand asset management, market positioning, and leveraging quantitative insights/marketing science for strategic choices.
Technical Fluency: Hands-on competency with modern relationship management systems (CRM) and multi-faceted analytical suites.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in automotive marketing (dealership, fleet, or vehicle brand promotion).
Prior tenure as a CMO or VP of Marketing within a high-growth startup or rapidly scaling environment.
Success leading organisation-wide rebranding initiatives or international market expansions.
Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies for a competitive marketing advantage.
