Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised, customer-focused, and results-driven Retail Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining efficient store processes, driving sales performance, ensuring effective stock control, and delivering a high standard of service to our customers.

This role requires a strong leader with experience in retail management, inventory control, team supervision, and customer relationship management. Knowledge or experience within flooring, construction supplies, trade products, hardware, tools, or a related industry will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient business performance
Lead, train, and support staff to achieve sales and service goals
Manage stock control, inventory ordering, and supplier coordination
Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue
Maintain product displays, merchandising, and store presentation standards
Manage customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues professionally
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and company procedures
Prepare sales, inventory, and operational reports for management
Assist with business planning and store improvement initiatives
