Manager on Duty position - Indoor Electric Go Kart Venue (Melbourne)
We are seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to join the management team for a brand new indoor electric go karting venue launching in Docklands,
Melbourne.
This is a Melbourne-based role for a new venue opening. To ensure all team
members are fully trained in our systems, safety standards and operations, successful applicants will complete a structured training period at our established venue in Sydney prior to the Melbourne launch.
This role is ideal for people looking to build a long-term career in venue operations and develop into leadership responsibilities over time.
You will start in a hands-on operational role across pit, track and guest services, with exposure to leadership responsibilities based on performance and capability.
Progression into supervisory or management-level opportunities is possible for the right candidates but is not guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily venue operations and ensure a smooth guest experience
- Prepare, reset and maintain karts between races
- Assist with race flow and safe track operations
- Deliver high-quality customer service and assist guests throughout their visit
- Support bookings, registrations and group/event sessions
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Maintain safety, cleanliness and presentation standards at all times
- Report operational, safety or maintenance issues promptly
- Support leadership team with general shift execution
Training & Location:- This is a Melbourne-based position for a new venue opening in Docklands
- Initial training will take place in Sydney at our existing operational venue
- Training duration is approximately 2–3 months (subject to operational needs
and individual progression)
- Training will cover all operational systems, safety procedures and venue
standards before transition to Melbourne
- Interstate applicants may be required to travel to Sydney for training.
- Please note that the company will not cover any travel arrangements and
relocation costs.

- Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Interest in leadership and venue operations
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment, customer service, sport, recreation or
retail is beneficial but not essential
