As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our automotive team.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair a range of motor vehicles
Inspect engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmissions, and other mechanical systems for faults
Use diagnostic equipment and specialised tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues
Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and general mechanical repairs
Repair and replace worn or defective vehicle components as required
Conduct road tests and final checks to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate service and repair records and report any additional maintenance requirements
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and keep tools, equipment, and workshop areas clean and organised

Qualifications & Experience

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent automotive qualification
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar automotive repair role
Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, mechanical diagnostics, fault finding, repairs, and maintenance procedures
Good understanding of engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and other automotive components
Experience working with a range of petrol and diesel vehicles
Ability to confidently use modern diagnostic equipment, specialised tools, and workshop technology
Strong problem-solving skills with good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a workshop team
Good organisational and time-management skills with a commitment to completing work efficiently and to a high standard
Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
