What Does the Job Look Like?
Linfox is seeking qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our West Melbourne Workshop. This workshop plays a critical role in supporting our Victorian transport operations, maintaining a modern fleet of prime movers and trailing equipment to the highest safety and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities
Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles and trailers
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Conduct inspections and identify maintenance requirements
Repair and replace components to manufacturer specifications
Complete maintenance documentation and service reports accurately
Perform testing and quality checks to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
Support breakdown and recovery activities when required
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

To Be Successful You Will Have:
Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
Experience maintaining heavy vehicles, trailers or mobile equipment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair documentation
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Heavy Vehicle licence desirable but not essential
