Sewing Machinist

Capalaba, QLD

Fulltime Role (Monday - Friday)

$26.70 per hour + 12% super and 17.5% annual leave loading

Do you know how to operate an industrial sewing machine? Join our Global Sportswear Brand today! We are looking for full-time sewing machinist who is ready to start immediately at our amazing factory based in Capalaba! This is a fulltime role Mon-Fri (7am start).

What began with Sylvia sewing leotards for her children, has grown into a globally recognised industry leading design-house, proudly designing and manufacturing in Brisbane. Through our three brands, Sylvia P Practice Wear, Team Wear, and Every Turn, we infuse fashion-forward design with innovative construction to support the full athlete journey from practice wear to competition leotards and teen activewear. We uniquely maintain a full on-site production factory that keeps craftsmanship, quality control, design, marketing and photography all under one roof.

What will you bring?

Experience working with industrial sewing machines in high volume production
Experience in straight sewing, overlocking, twin needling, binding and/or flatlock is ideal but not a requirement
Experience working with stretch garments is good but not required
Install bobbins, needles and guide plates to accommodate different fabric types and create assorted stitching patterns
