We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in Perth. This role offers the opportunity to represent one of Australia’s most iconic paint brands, Taubmans, and play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth and profitability across your territory.
You will be improve the profitability of your territory across Perth and it's southern suburbs by developing and fostering new and existing partnerships. You will drive the growth of key customers and new business opportunities to achieve profit and growth for PPG across the territory.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage a strategic account plan to maximize sales, profitability, and market share within your assigned territory

Build, maintain, and grow a portfolio of commercial trade accounts

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue streams
-
Utilize CRM tools effectively to manage customer data, track sales activities, and maintain a disciplined call plan to ensure consistent engagement with key accounts
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and enhance customer satisfaction

Achieve and exceed sales targets, growth objectives, and profitability goals through proactive account management and negotiation
-
Deliver exceptional customer service and relationship management, fostering long-term partnerships and customer loyalty

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, demonstrating professionalism and brand advocacy

Work autonomously with strong self-motivation while contributing effectively to team goals and company culture
Requirements
-
Previous Account Management experience, or relevant experience in a paint trade
-
A willingness to attend events outside of standard work hours as required

Excellent communications skills - you will easily establish trust and make people feel comfortable with your easy-going approach.

A proven record in building new relationships, or accounts and growing existing business

Current Driver’s license and Australian work rights
