Are you a passionate and skilled chef looking to join a dynamic team? We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join our kitchen and help deliver exceptional dining experiences.

About the Role

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and ensuring every dish meets our standards of excellence. You'll work alongside a supportive team to create innovative, delicious dishes while contributing to smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and customer preferences
Ensure food is consistently presented to a high standard
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience
Monitor stock levels and order inventory, ensuring efficient use of ingredients
Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene guidelines

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
Strong culinary skills with excellent attention to detail and presentation
Demonstrated experience preparing wok-based dishes and Asian-style cuisine, as well as classic Australian cuisine
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Passion for food and creativity in the kitchen
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Commercial Cookery
