Are You the Right Fit?
Are you an experienced Pharmacist looking to further develop your clinical expertise and make a meaningful contribution to patient care? This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment and is passionate about quality use of medicines and continuous service improvement.

Demonstrated competence in applying advanced clinical pharmacy knowledge across specialty areas such as critical care, geriatrics, paediatrics, neonatal care, diabetes, palliative care, antimicrobial stewardship, opioid stewardship, and drug information.
Ability to promote antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and support evidence-based prescribing practices in accordance with approved guidelines and Drug Committee recommendations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Experience applying quality improvement methodologies to enhance patient outcomes and Pharmacy service delivery.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, supervise and support pharmacy staff, and provide assistance across specialised clinical areas as required.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions to the scope of practice. A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a registered pharmacist working in hospital pharmacy AND EITHER: A minimum of 12 months experience working as a clinical pharmacist in in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area) OR a relevant postgraduate qualifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area).
Demonstrated competence in clinical drug knowledge and experience in applying that knowledge appropriately to clinical settings such as education, critical care, geriatrics, paediatrics, neonatal, diabetes, antimicrobial stewardship, opioid stewardship, drug information, drug committee, palliative care, development or review of medication policies and guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to foster effective teamwork, proactively take initiative, and supervise pharmacy staff while providing specialised support across the service.
Proven ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently to resolve complex problems while effectively managing time and balancing competing priorities.
