We are looking for a qualified and motivated Pharmacist to join our friendly community pharmacy team.

Employment: Part-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and safely.
- Provide professional medication counselling and health advice.
- Administer vaccinations and other approved injections in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and manage Webster packs / dose administration aids.
- Conduct Med Checks where appropriately qualified and authorised.
- Provide medication management and support to patients with complex medication needs.
- Liaise with GPs, nurses, aged-care facilities and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy legislation, professional standards and workplace procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and contribute positively to the pharmacy team.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Current Pharmacist registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
- Strong knowledge of dispensing procedures, medication safety and pharmacy legislation.
- Experience or willingness to provide vaccinations/injections.
- Experience with Webster packs / dose administration aids.
- Experience conducting Med Checks or willingness to obtain the required training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable and patient-focused attitude.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous community pharmacy experience.
- Experience with pharmacy software such as fred.
- Experience working with aged-care facilities or medication management services.
- Additional vaccination, medication review or clinical pharmacy qualifications.
- Ability to provide health services such as blood pressure checks, diabetes support and other pharmacy-based health programs.
