As the Head of Programs, Casey Tech School, your key responsibilities include:

Lead the development, documentation and delivery of Casey Tech School‘s cutting-edge, technology-rich, STEAM, project-based and problem-based curriculum programs
Support the co-design of curriculum programs with partner school teachers
Support the Tech School Director by contributing to the strategy development and operations of the Casey Tech School
Drive the development and implementation of student experience and retention strategies to improve early engagement, satisfaction and success.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and methods to ensure improved performance and quality of learner outcomes
Build and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and partnerships with secondary schools, local industry and key stakeholders to enhance product and delivery strategies
Engage with school partners to ensure high levels of student opportunity, attendance and engagement
Engage with industry partners to ensure satisfaction and alignment with future workforce needs

ABOUT YOU

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.

Qualifications required for the role

Education qualifications – Graduate Degree (or higher) or TAE Teaching Qualifications (with VIT registration) or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2025
Vocational or Bachelor level qualifications in any of the Health, Science, Maths, Engineering, or Technology disciplines
Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
