As a Workforce Development Business Partner, your key responsibilities include:
- Provide operational leadership in Workforce Development and Employee Engagement strategies to the broader People Culture & Safety Team and the wider business, providing tailored solutions where needed.

Design, organise and deliver Workforce Development and Employee Engagement programs in response to and aligned with, the People Plan and annual organisational professional development plan.

Draft employee communications for cascading though the organisation through appropriate employee channels including content for the intranet and employee newsletter, ensuring all communication is branded and consistently represented with People Plan themes.

Provide training and support to the Business Areas including coaching both employee and People Leaders in managing the Performance and Development cycle and providing and exchanging constructive feedback.

Lead the implementation of best practice processes in Workforce Development across the Organisation, maintaining a strong focus on employee engagement and workforce capability.

Support and coordinate the organisation’s induction programs including facilitation to support a positive and engaging employee onboarding experience and design and facilitate workshops and programs conducted under the umbrella of the Professional Development Framework that meet the requirements of the business using best practice learning methodologies and frameworks.

Support and promote Chisholm’s organisational and local Reward and Recognition Programs including helping manage and organise the related celebratory events.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with a collaborative style, a strong relationship building capability and experience in the design, development, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of learning and development solutions to maximise effectiveness and engagement whilst using knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory.
You have well-developed skills in promoting employee engagement, celebrating excellence and driving enthusiasm for improving employee capability, practised analytical skills with the ability to make recommendations that demonstrate credibility and expertise, an understanding of the learning needs analysis link to learning and development solutions, and their alignment with Chisholm’s strategic goals, demonstrated experience in managing and participating in projects and initiatives that are focused on employee engagement, development and capability and demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous and high-pressured environments and employ innovative and creative problem-solving techniques.
Qualifications required for the role
- Degree qualification in Human Resources Management, Organisational Development, Change Management, or relevant discipline, or a lower-level qualification with significant experience.
